Welcome to St. Patrick’s School in Kinkora! It is always a blessing to gather as a community of faith and learning, ready to embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead as we begin a new school year.
As we journey together, we keep in mind our school’s patron, St. Patrick, whose deep trust in the Lord continues to inspire us. His example of faith, perseverance, compassion, and commitment to community reminds us of who we are called to be each day.
This year is particularly special as our school proudly celebrates its 60 years since the school opened its doors on this site! This historic milestone makes our spiritual focus for the year—“Rejoice”—especially timely and meaningful. As we look back on six decades of Catholic education, faith, and community in Kinkora, we have so much to celebrate and be grateful for.
Our dedicated staff are committed to creating a caring and inclusive environment where every student’s unique gifts are nurtured and celebrated. Through their ongoing efforts, students are supported to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually as they become confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals.
St. Patrick’s School is grounded in the vision and mission of the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board. As a faith community, we celebrate learning and living our multi-year spiritual theme, On Fire with the Spirit: Awaken – Illuminate – Rejoice. In partnership with our families and the Perth Huron Crossroads Family of Parishes, we continue to foster a community where all can thrive and reach their fullest potential.
At St. Patrick’s, the Ontario curriculum is taught through the lens of Gospel values, Catholic teachings, and a strong commitment to equity and inclusion. The Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Catholic Social Teaching, and the Board’s Spiritual Plan guide our work, ensuring that student well-being and academic excellence remain at the heart of all we do.
Our educational journey is about more than academic success. Like St. Patrick, we are called to make a difference in the world through our faith and actions. As we embrace the theme of “Rejoice” throughout this milestone year, may the Spirit fill our hearts with gratitude and joy, inspiring us to share that joy, kindness, wisdom, and light with one another each and every day.
